Interviewer: So, Jack, we just want to know, some things, as much as you are comfortable to tell.

Jack: Well, I just arrived at the mission the other day.

Jack: I was on the street for a week.

Jack: It’s somewhere I never want to be again.

Jack: I ended up on the street, because my dad was beating me, he told me I was useless and it has happened since I was really little. I don’t remember, not being bashed. I could do nothing right, and I just couldn’t do it anymore, so I left.

Jack: I am only 16, and I didn’t know where to go, so I just grabbed a bag of stuff and slept on the street. I was begging for money to eat. It was horrible. But then David from the city mission came by and I was able to go to Frontyard.

Jack: My story isn’t as bad as the others it feels weird even talking about this. I was only bashed, people go through worse.
